Through its flagship programs, publications and products,
aMuse™ will help to inspire a national movement to engage children
in the creative process, educate parents, and provide significant
resources for creative enrichment programs and professionals.
aMuse will offer the following core programs which will ultimately
impact the personal growth and development of all children
in our country:
aMuse Membership (available now)
Our Charter Muse membership program helps to engage people
in our mission/movement to inspire creativity in all children.
Additional benefits for this lifetime membership will continue
to arise as the organization evolves.

aMuse 'Zings'™ (coming July 2002)
'Zings' are creativity events for adults and families. These
events provide a compelling environment in which adults and
children can explore various creative art forms, socialize,
and celebrate their own unique creative spirit. As well, 'Zings'
provide parents and children with an engaging and collaborative
creative expression experience and serve as the ideal venue
for the 'Be A Muse' mentor program to take place.
'Zings', supported by volunteers and professional artists,
will provide aMuse with an exciting community-building and
fundraising vehicle, while also providing public relations,
general organization awareness, volunteer recruitment and
further community engagement of our mission.
aMuse News - Newsletter (coming July 2002)
aMuse News is a national monthly online newsletter targeted
at parents of children of all ages, but primarily 6-12. aMuse
News will deliver valuable information about how parents can
bring out the best in their child's creative and emotional
development. It will feature articles, mentor tips, research,
activities, and resources. aMuse News will also contain local
inserts promoting specific places, programs and events.
Parent Education Publication (coming October 2002)
This fall, aMuse will publish a series of impactful parent
education brochures which will explore the definition of what
creativity is, why it's important to understand, and how creativity
can impact on the emotional development of a child. This publication
will provide helpful tips on how to mentor a child's creativity,
and even enhance our own in the process.
'Be A Muse' Mentor (coming October 2002)
At the heart of aMuse is the spirit of the classic master/apprentice
relationship which has nurtured artists throughout history.
The 'Be A Muse' mentor program will renew this spirit by educating
parents, artists and other volunteers on ways to inspire creativity
in children. By providing regular programs, venues and events
whereby the muse/child relationship can occur, aMuse will
help children identify their own creative process and shape
their unique forms of self-expression.
To reach more children with this program, 'Be A Muse' mentor
kits will be provided to existing mentoring programs, community
centers, hospitals and schools. These kits will provide the
curriculum, activities and access to experiences for mentors
to effectively muse their youth subjects.
